Overview
Introducing fiat, the Phantom way
Phantom Wallet was introducing a new feature that allows users to hold fiat currency directly in their wallet. I created a 40-second product demo designed to introduce the feature through a strong visual hook and a dynamic mix of 2D and 3D animation. I handled the project from concept and storyboarding to design, animation, and sound design.
Problem
The challenge was to explain a new financial feature in a short amount of time without making the video feel like a traditional product tutorial. The opening needed to grab attention immediately, while the rest of the animation had to communicate the functionality clearly and keep the visual language aligned with Phantom's product.
Solution
I built the video around a striking opening hook and a fast-paced visual narrative. 2D and 3D animation were combined to create contrast, depth, and momentum throughout the piece. I designed and storyboarded the sequence, animated the product and visual elements, and created the sound design to reinforce key moments and give the demo a more polished, cinematic feel.
